Milo's First Birthday

The day before his birthday he was chasing Zoey around the living room and (of course) he fell into the beveled edge of the glass coffee table. Little bit of skin glue works wonders and thank goodness for after hours pediatrics.

Just hanging out waiting for cake and presents.

Theses are the presents that Zoey helped wrap and unwrap.

Happy Birthday Song and please excuse my singing!

And Disney Land

This was Zoey's 2nd time to DisneyLand and she got way more out of it but it was SO crowded (last day before Spring Break ended) that we left kinda early. She cried a lot...because she just couldn't get used to the idea of leaving something that was already fun in search of something else that may or may not be just as fun or better. Milo was kinda frustrated but he'll do better next time.

I wish I could have seen the look on her face when she saw the life sized Tow-Mater and Lightening McQueen!

The first thing she did was give him a kiss. And we paid homage to her idol's

This was Milo's first Carousel ride...he liked it but wasn't quite the fan that Zoey is. Zoey also rode the Matterhorn which is a pretty big roller coaster for a 3 year old...all was fine until the teenagers in back of us started screeching.

Minnie Mouse...so exciting! I didn't even know she knew Minnie?

Getting off this ride involved a LOT of crying.

Busy Month...A Day with Thomas the Train

It was a very twisty-turny ride through the canyon to Fillmore. Poor Olliver (Julia's youngest) lost his breakfast on the way there...

This is Zoey clapping upon first sighting of Thomas coming into Fillmore Station. Yay Thomas...who is the marketing genius behind all those toys? And why are they so darn expensive?

A group shot of us with Julia, Charlie and Olliver.

Riding on Thomas.

And of course the bouncy house afterward. No pictures of Zoey because she was just a blur of motion anyway.

Milo's 10 Month Pics

For some reason these pictures scanned really poorly...Oh well. And I take back what I said on the previous post. He's definitely walking now but not so much while Momma's around...I guess he doesn't want me to feel like he doesn't need me anymore. :-)

What's up?

We've kinda been adopted...this is one of three kitties (the most friendly) who have started to hang around the yard.

This is my arm and shoulder evening workout.
Milo finds it most exhilarating.

Pictures with Dad...I couldn't resist the one of Milo on the right...Zoey was too busy watching Road Runner cartoons to really look at the camera.

Big sister feeding Milo his breakfast. At least it's Cheerios instead of rocks and gummy bears like the other day.

Gotta love Play-Doh. Kinda looks like she's doing a cooking show. Look out Rachel Ray!

Both kids fight over this train... Thanks Mom!
Finally pedaling the bike that Grandpa and Judy gave her 2 years ago!
Yay!
Coloring...
Posing...
And eating crayons...how many crayons can a kid eat before it becomes a problem. I mean they say Non-toxic and I'm thinking I just need to let him get it out of his system because redirecting his mouth away from stuff like crayons and paper just makes him want to eat more.

Aww...

Bathtime in Milo's tub.
Still "cruising" (since before Thanksgiving) but to be honest, he's sand bagging the walking thing...He can totally walk (when he thinks no one is watching) but he'd rather be carried or lead me around the house or yard by the hand all day.

When it rains it pours.

This was Super Bowl Sunday...OK, yeah, I know the Packers weren't contenders but it's the only NFL gear I had for them.

And one more tribute to El Parque de Lopez. Zoey says "Me gusta El Parque de Lopez"!
