OK, no photos of Zoey but there will be a whole slew coming soon for the 6 month birthday milestone. I've gotta tell you about a fun blog and it's all about my good friend Allison and Zoey's playmate Ever (yep, that's her on the left). Ever is listed in our First Friends post. Yes, she finally made her debut...and that's a story in and of itself! Really, you gotta see some of the pictures of little Ever. The post about what she wants to be when she grows up is hilarious. Fun with Baby in the Shower..

No, I'm not peddling anything gross here but this is Zoey's first "face press"! There were so many more poses but I had to run and quick get the camera before this important milestone in her life passed by unrecorded! So much work to do as a parent, huh?

Oh My...

As in "Oh my God, where have the last 5 months gone?" She is a character. I think we'll keep her. Forget the piano lessons. I think this girl has a distinguished palate already. She loves her vino just like Mom & Dad. Yes, she is holding the glass too and I'm not forcing booze on my baby, she loves it. Just you try to give her a cheap Chardonnay and watch the instant gag reflex...I'm not kidding!

What else is new? Still no teeth. Solid food is part of her daily menu now...although I don' t think she's really into it yet. I think she's eating the slop just to humor me...and it is quite funny at times. Can't I just nurse her until she's potty trained and able to cut her own meat? It would be so much easier and much less messy! Oh, I forgot. Zoey can sit up on her own now too.



Below is her new "headshot" for the casting website. We were off to Hollywood for an audition today...some clothing manufacturer for Gap or something. She did very well. She stood (with a little help), held her number card, looked right at the camera and smiled. What a pro! If all goes well, there will be a big deposit into a certain little baby's 529I account! Plus a neat little catalog to show her when she's older and bragging rights for all the grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Hi Charlie! Wanna play? They have been "seeing" each other almost every week for a few months now and she definitely recognizes him. I put a picture of him in her chaning table and she literally contorts herself to look at Charlie!

New Video Post

Zoey loves to play on the piano...I just realized there is no lock on the lid. Are we in for an auditory treat in the future or what? The video isn't that great and there are two of them. I had to get creative about propping the camera up. One shows the front and the second shows her footwork. Maybe I've got it all wrong and she's not going to be a piano prodigy, but rather, a dancer!

First Friends

And we're still waiting on this little one...the youngest of our play group. Should be any day now. This is Baby Irete...her Mom is Allison (see the July 4th post).

Here's Seth (Jamar's son) and Mandy (Tiffany's daughter). Both are with us at "Casa de Lopez" at the last play date. Seth and Mandy were born September and October 2005 respectively.

These are the "twins"...born exactly four hours apart. That's me holding Zoey and Charlie (Julia's son). Julia is also pictured with me in one of the pregnancy photos.

This is my friend Colleen. She came over with her daughter Angelina when Zoey was just a couple weeks old. Angelina was also born in October 2005.

Four and a half months old

Hmm..what's new? No teeth yet though you can tell she's working on it by that first picture. Last Doctor appointment she was up over 13 pounds and had grown 5 inches! She rolled over randomly very early on but last night she did it both directions (back to tummy and tummy to back) several times so it was definitely no accident this time...Vince finally got to see it.

First 4th of July...a continuation

OK, the party at Casa de Lopez was actually on the 3rd. We all went to Irete's Retreat (home of Allison and David Irete...plus soon to debut, baby Irete!) way up on the mountain to hang out, BBQ and watch fireworks.
