This one's for Stef...and Steph too.

There are two little mistakes though I'm pretty happy with the sound. Not too happy about the unflattering camera angle on my rear as I walk away from the camera though. LOL Blame that on the fact that I haven't been very intimate with my bike for the last 4 months!

Every other time I've tried this "exercise" and I seem to crumble from the nerves...ach, just the mere thought of preserving my playing for future listening makes me shake and sweat!

Anyway, I've been working on this Chopin Nocturne for about 4 years. Vince and I were supposed to play it for a recital this weekend but after playing it for my piano teacher today we decided to step it down and play something less stressful and more fun (aka reliable)...perhaps I will post the Bach Prelude from the recital if I can get someone to hold the camera.

Ice Skating

Another winter sport intro for Milo. Zoey skated once when she was 20 months old or so...she also skied at 11 months and again while I was pregnant with Milo. Milo wasn't as thrilled about skating as he was skiing. But Zoey absolutely LOVED it. Again, my expectations were that they would hate the way the skates felt and become immediately frustrated with the ice. Luckily they had these red support things for beginners to hold on and scoot around with. Before long Zoey ditched hers and Milo wanted to copy his big sister and did the same. Zoey even skated enough to create some pretty bad blisters but she didn't seem to mind at all until we took off the skates.

Two ski days

We did manage to squeeze in two trips to Granite Peak...next year definitely season passes! Both kids (much to my surprise) took to it immediately...especially Milo! I half expected meltdowns about the way the boots felt when you walk...it can feel pretty strange. Zoey was certain they had magnets in the bottom that made you stick to the ground.
